Engine 2 (F-346) is a 2023 E-One 900/1500 housed at 376 Virginia Street in Allentown along with the Division Chief and F-40. They are in the 4th Battalion
Engine 3 (F-334) is a 2011 American LaFrance 750/1500 housed at 601 Broadway on the near East Side along with the 3rd Battalion Chief and HazMat 1. They are in the 3rd Battalion.
Engine 4 (F-331) is a 2009 Crimson 750/1750 house at 939 Abbott Road in South Buffalo. They are in the 4th Battalion
Engine 19 (F-343) is a 2020 E-One 750/1750 housed at 209 Forest Avenue in the Grant Amherst. They are in the 4th Battalion
Engine 20 better known as the Fireboat Edward M. Cotter is housed at 155 Ganson Street in the Old First Ward. Built in 1900, it is the world's oldest continually operating fireboat in the country
Engine 21 (F-342) is a 2017 E-One 750/1750 housed with Ladder 6 and Rescue 1 located at 1229 Jefferson Avenue in Masten Park. They are in the 3rd Battalion.
Engine 22 (F-338) is a 2013 American LaFrance 750/1500 located at 1528 Broadway Street on the East Side. They are in the 3rd Battalion
Engine 23 (F-335) is a 2011 American LaFrance 750/1500 located at 3226 Bailey Avenue in the Kensington Bailey neighborhood. They are in the 7th Battalion
Engine 25 (F-332) is a 2009 Crimson 750/1750 housed with the 6th Battalion Chief and Ladder 10 at 517 Southside Parkway on the South Side. They are in the 6th Battalion

Engine 28 (F-328) is a 2007 American LaFrance located at 1170 East Lovejoy Street in Lovejoy. They are in the 3rd Battalion.
Engine 31 (F-330) is a 2007 American LaFrance 750/1500 housed with Ladder 14 located at 2044 Bailey Avenue on the East Side. They are in the 3rd Battalion.

Engine 33 (F-339) is a 2012 American LaFrance 750/1500 housed at 1720 Fillmore Avenue in the Hamlin Park neighborhood. They are in the 3rd Battalion.
Engine 34 9F-333) is a 2011 American LaFrance housed with Ladder 7 located at 2837 Main Street in University Heights. They are in the 7th Battalion.
Engine 35 (F-323) is a 2006 American LaFrance 750/1500 housed with Ladder 15 located at 1512 Clinton Street in Kaisertown. They are in the 6th Battalion.
Engine 36 (F-340) is a 2016 E-One 750/1750 housed with Ladder 13 located at 860 Hertel Avenue in the West Hertel neighborhood. They are in the 7th Battalion.
Engine 37 (F-341) is a 2016 E-One 750/1750 housed with Ladder 4 and B-44 located at 500 Rhode Island Street on the West Side. They are in the 4th Battalion.
Engine 38 (F-345) is a 2020 E-One 750/1750 housed with B-47 located at 398 Linden Avenue in the Parkside neighborhood. They are in the 7th Battalion.
Ladder 2 (F-262) is a 2011 American LaFrance mid mount housed with Engine 1 located at 132 Ellicott Street in Downtown. They are in the 4th Battalion.
Ladder 4 (F-263) is a 2012 American LaFrance 93' mid mount bucket housed with Engine 37 and B-44 located at 500 Rhode Island Street on the West Side. They are in the 4th Battalion.
Ladder 5 (F-267) is a 2023 Pierce 100' mid mount stick housed with Engine 32 located at 700 Seneca Street in Larkin District. They are in the 6th Battalion.
Ladder 6 (F-257) is a 2006 American LaFrance 93' rear mount bucket housed with Engine 21 and Rescue 1 at 1229 Jefferson Avenue in Masten Park. They are in the 3rd Battalion.
Ladder 7 (F-264) is a 2015 Pierce 100' rear mount bucket housed with Engine 34 located at 2837 Main Street in North Buffalo. They are in the 7th Battalion.
Ladder 10 (F-257) is a 2007 American LaFrance 93' rear mount bucket housed with Engine 25 and B-43 located at 517 Southside Parkway in South Buffalo. They are in the 6th Battalion.
Ladder 13 (F-266) is a 2017 E-1 100' rear mount bucket housed with Engine 36 located at 860 Hertel Avenue in North Buffalo. They are in the 7th Battalion.
Ladder 14 (F-261) is a 2011 American LaFrance 93' mid mount bucket housed with Engine 31 located at 2044 Bailey Aveneue on the East Side. They are in the 3rd Battalion.
Ladder 15 (F-267) is a 2022 Pierce 105' rear mount stick housed with Engine 35 located at 1512 Clinton Street in Kaisertown. They are in the 6th Battalion.
Rescue 1 (FR-6) is a 2019 E-One housed at Engine 21 and Ladder 6's quarters at 1229 Jefferson Avenue. They are in the 3rd Battalion. R-1 carries extrication and specialized rescue tools and responds to all major MVA's, working fires and tech rescue calls throughout the city.
The Special Ops Division Chief (F-505) better known as B-55 is a 2018 Ford housed at Special Operations quarters downtown at 197 Court Street. She is responsible for all HazMat and Technical Rescue training and incidents.
The On Duty Division Chief (F-526) also known as B-56 is a 2020 Chevy housed with Engine 2 on Virginia Street. He responds to only working fires and other major incidents throughout the city.
The 3rd Battalion Chief (F-522) better known as B-43 is a 2020 Chevy housed at Engine 25/Ladder 10's quarters. It covers the east side and central part of the city.
The 4th Battalion Chief (F-527) better known as B-44 is a 2020 Chevy housed at Engine 37/Ladder 4's quarters. It covers mostly the west side of the city.
The 6th Battalion Chief (F-538) better known as B-46 is a 2023 Chevy housed at Engine 25/Ladder 10's quarters. It covers the south side of the city.
The 7th Battalion Chief (F-536) better known as B-47 is a 2023 Chevy housed at Engine 38's quarters. It covers the northeast side of the city.
The On Duty Accountability Officer-Lieutenant (F-474) is a 2013 Chevy housed with Engine 2 on Virgina Street. It's radio ID is F-40. They respond to all working fires, hazmat, and all serious MVA's
The On Duty EMS Lieutenant (F-521) also known as F-20 is a 2020 Chevy housed at the Service Station on Court Street downtown. They respond to all working fires, hazmat, serious MVA's, OD's, cardiac arrests and for needle pick ups. They also resupply the companies with medical supplies
This EMS ATV (F-ATV) is a 2007 John Deer used for patient transport at festivals and other events. It is currently housed at the fire training academy in Cheektowaga.
HazMat 1 (F-200) is a 2001 Pierce housed at Engine 3's quarters on Broadway and Monroe. It responds to all major HazMat incidents and does standbys for major events in the city.
The Water Rescue Unit (F-494) is a 2016 Ram housed at Engine 1/Ladder 2's quarters on Ellicott Street. The unit tows a zodiac that responds to all water rescue calls. It is cross manned by the station personnel.
Although the City Engineer (E-10) also known as F-39 is not a fire department vehicle but is an engineer that responds to incidents involving buildings and infrastructure to determine if they can be deemed safe. F-39 is a take home vehicle.
The Air Supply Unit (F-530) known as F-9 is a 2021 Freight Liner housed at the Service Station on Court Street downtown. It supplies air and SCBA bottles on fire scenes.
The Air Supply Unit (F-472) known as F-8 is a 2011 Ford Box Truck housed at the Service Station on Court Street downtown. It's used as a backup to F-9 and as a supply rig.
Behavioral Health rig better known as F-19 is a 2024 Chevy Tahoe assigned to the is Planning Division and is a take home vehicle.
The Field Command Unit (F-473) is a 2012 Freight Line housed at Engine 36 on Hertel Avenue. It is used as a Mobile Command Post for major incidents and for standbys at major events.
The Rehabilitation/MCI Unit (F-481) is a 2013 Freight Line housed at Engine 33's quarters on Fillmore Avenue. It is called out for incidents during extreme cold or heat for firefighter rehab.
The Medical Response Unit (F-471) better known as the Active Shooter Rig is a 2011 Ford F-350 stored at the Service Station on Staats Street downtown. It is stocked with extra medical equipment for an Active Shooter Incident or MCI
CBRNE 1 (F-448) is a 2006 Ford housed at Engine 31/Ladder 14's quarters on Bailey Avenue. It's used to tow Decon Trailer 1.
CBRNE 2 (F-449) is a 2006 Ford housed at Engine 37/Ladder 4/B-44's quarters on Rhode Island Street . It's used to tow the EMS Trailer.
CBRNE 3 (F-450) is a 2006 Ford assigned to the Special Ops Division on Court Street downtown.
CBRNE 4 (F-451) is a 2006 Ford housed at the Service Station on Staats Street downtown.
This Training Bureau Utility (F-470) rig is a 2004 Ford housed at the Training Bureau in Cheektowaga.
The Communications Division Boom (F-167) is a Ford and is stored at Engine 2's quarters on Virginia and Elmwood Avenue.
This ATF Response rig is a Pierce housed at Engine 23's Quarters on Bailey Avenue. It is not a Buffalo Fire vehicle but is used in Arson and Explosives cases by the U.S. ATF for investigations.
Fire Investigation uses this (F-523) 2020 Chevy that is housed in a parking lot at Fire Headquarters on Court Street.
Squad 4 (F-524) is a 2020 Chevy. It is currently used as a spare rig housed at the Service Station on Staats Streets downtown.
The Collapse Rig (F-480) better known as the "Wood Wagon" is a 2013 International housed at Engine 21/Ladder 6 & Rescue 1 on Jefferson Avenue. It carries wood, struts and other items used in Urban SAR.
The Communications Division (F-468) vehicle is a 2008 Chevy Cube Van used to do in the field radio and line repair for BFD equipment. It's housed at the Communication Division on Ellicott Street downtown.
The Fire Marshal (F-461) is a 2008 Ford used by the Fire Marshals Office for Fire Investigations and Post Blast Evidence Collection. It's housed at the Service Station on Staats Street downtown.
The Tire and Plow Truck (F-85) is a 1999 Ford F-350 is used by the Repair Shop for in field apparatus repairs. It is housed at the Service Station on Staats Street downtown.
The Repair Shop Tow Truck (F-138) better known as F-2 is a 1986 Mack used by the Repair Shop to tow BFD vehicles and apparatus. It is housed at the Service Station on Staats Street downtown.
The Fleet Services rig (F5-25) is a 2019 Dodge used for in the field apparatus repairs . It is housed at the Service Station on Staats Street downtown.
The Fuel Truck (F-036) is a 1978 Ford with a 1000 gallon tank used to supply diesel during prolonged incidents. It is housed at the Service Station on Staats Street downtown.
This Training Bureau van (F-469) is a 2008 Chevy Cube Van housed at the Training Bureau in Cheektowaga.
The Hose Tower pick up (F-462) is a 2008 Ford used to run errands and is housed at the Hose Tower on Court Street downtown.

The Alarm Office is supervised by a Battalion Chief (F-69) who works day shift, and consists of a Captain, and 4 civilian dispatchers per platoon, one of which is a Senior Dispatcher. Currently they operate on the old 4 platoon system of 2 days on , 2 nights on, then off 4 days.
The Communications Division and the Radio Shop consists of one civilian supervisor (F-70) and 2 civilian radio technicians (F-61). All Radio Shop personnel work day shift only.
The Fireboat Edward M. Cotter consists of a Captain, one engineer, and numerous volunteers. The paid personnel work Monday through Friday day shift but are on call 24/7.
The Fire Investigation Unit is supervised by a Captain (F-10) who works day shift but is on call 24/7 and consists of two investigators per platoon (F-11) and a civilian secretary who works strictly day shift. If Fire Investigators get called in they are designated as F-12. All the investigators in the unit are currently on a 4 platoon system and are appointed by the Mayor.
The Fire Prevention Bureau is supervised by a Division Chief (F-1) and consists of a Captain (F-1A) and 4 Lieutenants (F1-B-E) all of which are on day shift. The personnel are responsible for fire inspections and permitting.
Headquarters consists of a Fire Commissioner (C-1), 3 Deputy Fire Commissioners (B-51/B-52/B-53), a Senior Account Clerk Typist, 3 Account Clerk Typists, and an Administrative Secretary. The 3 Deputy Commissioners rotate month as a Duty Deputy.
The Hose Tower consists of one firefighter that strictly works day shift but may be called in 24/7 for hose picks. The Hose Truck is designated as F-63.
The Repair Shop is supervised by a Superintendent (F-48) and a Repair Shop Supervisor (F-49) and several mechanics. They are all civilian employees who work day shift but are on call 24/7 for emergencies.
The Service Station is supervised by a Captain and 3 Platoon Lieutenants and consists of 3 firefighters on each platoon. The Service Station firefighters respond to fires with the Air & Light rig (F-9) to fill SCBA bottles and deliver supplies to firehouses. They are currently on a 4 platoon system.
The Special Operations Division is supervised by a Division Chief (B-55) and a Battalion Chief (B-45) and consists of On Duty Battalion Safety Chief (B-41), a Special Ops Captain (F-26) and Lieutenant (F-27), a HazMat Captain (F-16) and an assistant (F-17) and a civilian secretary. All Special Ops personnel that are not on a a platoon system work days but are on call 24/7 for emergencies.
The Supply Depot consists of a civilian employee who orders and maintains supplies for the department.
The Training Bureau is supervised by a Battalion Chief (B-42) and consists of a Captain, Lieutenant, and a civilian secretary. All Training Bureau personnel are on day shift.
