Engine 19 is housed at 209 Forest Avenue on the West Side. They are in the 4th Battalion.
Engine 20 better knwn as the Fireboat Edward M. Cotter is housed at 155 Ganson Street. Built in 1900 it is the oldest continually operating fireboat in the world!
Engine 21 is housed with Ladder 6 and Rescue 1 at 1229 Jefferson Avenue in the Center of the city. They are in the 3rd Battalion.
Engine 22 is locate at 1528 Broadway Street on the East Side. They are in the 3rd Battalion.
Engine 26 is located at 3226 Bailey Avenue on the East Side. They are in the 7th Battalion.

Engine 35 is housed with Ladder 15 located at 1512 Clinton Street in Kaisertown. They are in the 6th Battalion.
Engine 36 is housed with Ladder 13 located at 860 Hertel Avenue in North Buffalo. They are in the 7th Battalion.
Engine 37 is housed with Ladder 4 and B-44 located at 500 Rhode Island Street on the West Side. They are in the 4th Battalion.
Engine 38 is housed with B-47 located at 398 Linden Avenue in Parkside. They are in the 7th Battalion.

Ladder 10 is housed with Engine 25 and B-43 located at 517 Southside Parkway in South Buffalo. They are in the 6th Battalion.
Ladder 13 is housed with Engine 36 located at 860 Hertel Avenue in North Buffalo. They are in the 7th Battalion.
Ladder 14 is housed with Engine 31 located at 2044 Bailey Aveneue on the East Side. They are in the 3rd Battalion.
Ladder 15 is housed with Engine 35 located at 1512 Clinton Street in Kaisertown. They are in the 6th Battalion.
Rescue 1 is housed at Engine 21 and Ladder 6's quarters at 1229 Jefferson Avenue. They are in the 3rd Battalion. R-1 carries extrication and specialized rescue tools and responds to all major MVA's, working fires and tech rescue calls throughout the city.
The Division Chief for Special Operations better known as B-55 is housed at Special Operations quarters at the old Fire Headquarters downtown at Court & Staat Streets. He is responsible for all HazMat and Technical Rescue training and incidents.
The Division Chief also known as B-56 is housed with Engine 2 on Virginia Street. He responds to only working fires and other major incidents throughout the city.
The 3rd Battalion Chief better known as B-43 is housed at Engine 25/Ladder 10's quarters. It covers the east side and central part of the city.
The 4th Battalion Chief better known as B-44 is housed at Engine 37/Ladder 4's quarters. It covers mostly the west side of the city.
The 6th Battalion Chief better known as B-46 is housed at Engine 25/Ladder 10's quarters. It covers the south side of the city.
The 7th Battalion Chief better known as B-47 is housed at Engine 38's quarters. It covers the northeast side of the city.
The On Duty EMS Lieutenant also known as F-20 is housed at the Service Station downtown. They respond to all working fires, hazmat, serious MVA's, OD's, cardiac arrests and for needle pick ups. They also resupply the companies with medical supplies
The On Duty Safety Lieutenant is housed with Engine 2 on Virgina Street. They respond to all working fires, hazmat, and all serious MVA's
The On Duty Fire Marshal also know as F-11 is housed at Police & Fire Headquarters downtown. They respond to all structure and vehicle fires as well as any call where a victim has been burned.
HazMat 1 is housed at Engine 3's quarters on Broadway and Monroe. It responds to all major HazMat incidents and does standbys for major events in the city.
The Water Rescue Unit is housed at Engine 1/Ladder 2's quarters. The unit tows a zodiac that responds to all water rescue calls. It is cross manned by the station personnel.
Although the City Engineer also known as F-39 is not a member of the fire department he responds to incidents involving buildings and infrastructure to determine if they can be deemed safe.
The Air Supply Unit known as F-8 is housed at the Service Station downtown. It supplies air and SCBA bottles as a backup to F-9
The Air & Light Unit known as F-9 is housed at the Service Station downtown. It responds to all structure fires or other incident where SCNA air bottles need to be refilled.
The Salvation Army Canteen is housed at the Service Station downtown. It is manned by volunteers who respond to all Second Alarm fires or greater as well as major or prolonged incidents.
The Field Communications Unit is housed at Engine 36 on Hertel Avenue. It is used as a Mobile Command Post for major incidents and for standbys at major events in the city.
The Rehabilitation/MCI Unit is housed at Engine 33's quarters on Fillmore Avenue. It is called out for incidents during extreme cold or heat for firefighter rehab.
The Medical Response Unit better known as the Active Shooter Rig is stored at the Service Station downtown. It is stocked with extra medical equipment for an Active Shooter Incident or MCI
CBRNE 1 is housed at Engine 31/Ladder 14's quarters on Bailey Avenue. It's used to tow Decon Trailer 1 and carries extra bags of kitty litter for hazmat incidents.
CBRNE 2 is housed at . It's used to pull the EMS Trailer.
CBRNE is stationed at Engine 36/Ladder 13's quarters on Hertel Avenue. It is used to tow the NYS Foam Trailer.
CBRNE 4 is housed at Engine 37/Ladder 4's quarters on Rhode Island Street.It's used to pull Decon Trailer 2.
CBRNE 5 is housed at the Training Bureau in Cheektowaga.

The Urban Search & Rescue/Tech Support Unit better known as the "Wood Wagon" is housed at Engine 21/Ladder 6 & Rescue 1 on Jefferson Avenue. It carries wood, struts and other items used in Urban SAR.
The Communications Division vehicle is used to do in the field radio and line repair for BFD equipment.
This vehicle is used by the Fire Marshals Office for Fire Investigations and Post Blast Evidence Collection. It is housed at the Service Station Downtown.
F-85 is used by the Repair Shop for in field apparatus repairs. It is housed at the Service Station downtown.
F-2 is used by the Repair Shop to tow BFD vehicles and apparatus. It is housed at the Service Station Downtown.
The Fleet Services rig is used for in the field apparatus repairs . It is housed at the Service Station Downtown.
The Fuel Truck is used to supply gasoline during prolonged incidents. It is housed at the Service Station Downtown.
