The district extends east of the City of Buffalo Line, north of Ridge Road, loosely west of Lind Avenue and Wimbledon Court and south of the Route 400. Seneca Hose also covers the New York State Thruway eastbound from Ridge Road to the Route I-190 interchange, westbound from the Route 400 to Ridge Road and the Route 400 northbound from Seneca Street to the I-90 and southbound to Union Road.

Seneca Hose is part of the Erie County Regional Tech Rescue team and has personnel trained in rope and water rescue. They also have 500 gallons of foam on hand, a track vehicle capable of traveling through deep snow and blizzard conditions and have a rescue boat with a 30HP Yamaha jet drive. Some of the more noteworthy businesses in their first due district are Tops, Wegmans, the Hampton Inn, Staybridge Suites and Country Inn & Suites
